His name is unimportant, as all importantly; he is now known by God. He came to this country from Iran and was brought up all his life in the Muslim faith. One day we met for coffee and I witnessed to him at length about our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. "If you said these things in Iran", he abruptly interrupted, "You would be hung!" I turned to him and said, "That makes me so very happy!...Because if I were not telling you the truth, why would anyone go to the extreme of taking my life!...That in itself proves what I'm telling you is absolutely true." He then started writing with his finger in the air in Farsi, as we continued to speak. But coming to a beautiful garden of flowers several meters in length, I stopped and asked him to look at all of the beautiful flowers and then think of the country that he had come from and compare it to that which he'd seen here. As he paused and thought, I then asked the young man, "Have you thought about this? Your country is in a shambles and poverty stricken and this nation is overflowing with an abundance of wealth and prosperity beyond most peoples imagination. Why do you think that is?" The young man was still silent for a moment as he pondered the question, "Because you believe in Jesus?", he answered softly.

"Yes!", I stated and then we continued to walk and talk as he would ask questions. Amazingly, after an hour or so had gone by, he confided in me that during the 17 years that he had practiced the Muslim faith he knew that it was, (in his words), "a deception". At the end of our meeting I gave him a gospel tract and asked him to say the prayer that was written on the back of it and most importantly to mean it with ALL HIS HEART.

A few days later, I saw him again and asked if he had said the prayer. "Oh yes", he replied, "I said it many times!" I told him that he had only needed to say it once, but that was fine because the Lord knew his heart and that he was now "saved" for eternity. I gave him a small Bible and asked him to read the book of Romans therein.

Shortly thereafter, my friend told me he was going back to Iran and I asked him what he intended to do there as he could tell very few, if anyone, of his new salvation. He replied, "I'll keep it locked in my heart."

All Praise & Glory To Our Lord & Saviour Christ Jesus
