Have you ever "thought" about turning Satan's media of entertainment, OFF ? Or better yet, get rid of it completely! Since the introduction of Television, our society has ever so slowly been desensitized to sex, violence, and demonic projection of every sort. And you say, "Oh my, what is a child of God to do...whatever are we to do? Can I change the channel honey? My soap-opera is coming on."

-- Give me a break!

I have spoken to people who feel they can not live without a Television much less go an entire day without it. And if that "thing" ever goes on the fritz, watch out! They pace back and forth in the living room for days on end until "it" is either repaired or they buy or rent a new one to replace "it"...and those are just the "Christians."

Here's an idea my Christian friends. Turn your television sets off for one whole month. I know this will be a sacrifice...kinda like giving food to the hungry and fasting, but go ahead and try it. During this time, husbands talk to your wives -- you may discover a person living in your house that you didn't even know was there. Talk to your children...they'll enjoy knowing that they have "parents". Read the Word of God together. Do a Bible Study. Maybe even sing hymns...

WOW! Within one short month you'll start feeling "happier" and your friends and neighbors won't know why. And after that first month you know what else? You won't even want to turn "it" back on again. And when you tell people you don't watch television, they won't believe you. Don't believe me? TRY IT.

Okay now there's a matter or another smaller "intruder"...the Radio. Don't turn that thing on while the "Idiot Box" is off. The radio is just another means of providing more unnecessary "garbage"...and this includes so-called "Christian Broadcasting," by the way.

Get rid of them both. Get them out of your life for a whole month and after you've gotten reacquainted with your spouse and children...here comes the next big step...ready?
